Eerie Soundtrack - Another experimental patch that loops back on itself, altering the pitch and tone of the original signal until a rising wave of eerie, ghost-like tones wash over the player. Use the expression pedal to control the volume. "Eerie Soundtrack" (U): Can be used to create some weird non-guitar sounds like wailing ghosts and poltergeists. It uses a loop containing delay and chorus, which is morphed in by the cc-pedal. Finally, the whole signal passes through a BigVerb for a really surreal effect. Start by playing a few notes or a chord. Then, gradually toe down on the pedal. The loop will do some gruesome things to the sound. You'll have to wiggle the cc-pedal around a little bit to control the rising sound volume. Kinda fun. Tom Hespos. SAP #========================================================== #========================================================== # Program: Eerie Soundtrack # Author: Thomas F. Hespos, Jr. # # Description: You'll enjoy goofing around with this patch if you # are into weird non-guitar type sounds. This patch # uses a delay and chorus in a loop. I'm sure this # patch could be used to create weird sounds for a # horror movie soundtrack. Make sure your cc pedal # is calibrated correctly. # # Performance Play a couple of single notes (perhaps an arpeggio) # Notes: with the cc pedal heel down. Then, gradually toe # down and leave the pedal there. The loop will kick # in and do some WEIRD stuff to the sound. Heel # down when the noise level gets too high. # # Rig Notes: Patch was created with '96 Fender Strat Plus. # Guitar -> GSP -> Marshall 9000 Tube Power Amp -> # ADA 2X12" (70W Celestions). # #========================================================== #========================================================== GSP-2101 # Device ID 2.02.1 # Software version Eerie Soundtrack # Program Name U # Algorithm Number #========================================================== # Module Parameter Settings Section #========================================================== Comp (Bypass) # Compressor Dist (On, Clean Tube, 6.0) # Distortion EQ (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0) # EQ Mvol (0) # Master Volume FxL (Bypass) # Effects Loop NGt (On, -67, 7, 30, 0, 60, 45, 4.0) # Noise Gate 2x1 ( 100 cc[0, 100], 0 cc[100,0], 100 ) # 2x1 Mixer Dly2 ( On, 0.100, 10, 100, Off ) # Delay 2.0 Cho ( On, 100, 40.00, 0.75, 4.00, Sine ) # Mono Chorus Big ( On, 0, 400, 5, 7, 50, 0, 80, 7, 20000, 20000, 5, 3.00, 50 ) #BigVerb MMix ( 100% Wet ) # Wet 2 Dry #========================================================== #User Algorithm Input Linkage #========================================================== 2x1 -> ( Left Input, Cho Out 1 ) Dly2 -> ( 2x1 Out 1 ) Cho -> ( Dly2 Out 1 ) Big -> ( 2x1 Out 1 ) MMix -> ( Big Out 1, Big Out 2 ) #========================================================== # End of Program #========================================================== #========================================================== # Please send all feedback to spos@dtd.org #==========================================================
